Our mission is to make a positive impact on the environment while providing exceptional products and services to our clients… and that is where Kerastase comes in!!  

We carefully select suppliers and partners who share our commitment to sustainability. We prioritize working with companies that adhere to ethical labour practices and follow environmentally friendly production methods. As Regina’s only Kerastase salon, it is a privilege to be able to provide absolutely amazing products to our clients AND feel good about knowing the company's commitment to the planet is right in line with our values! Kerastase hopes to generate a sustainable circle of care in the professional luxury hair care world, from sourcing and manufacturing to formulas and packaging.

​​They are innovating and using more sustainable packaging wherever possible, using less virgin materials and more recycled, and supporting recyclable and refillable delivery systems. Besides striving for more eco-conscious packaging innovations, Kerastase also aims to replace virgin plastic with recycled plastic wherever they still use plastic.

We are excited to be a part of the Kérastase Bring Back Your Bain recycling program.

1. Bring back your full-sized Kérastase plastics to Salon Society when you’ve finished with them.
   
2. We will send them to Kérastase for recycling and reuse.
   
3. You get a mini gift (and good vibes for working to save the planet)!!
   

Kerastase is committed to more responsible formulas.

Kérastase is applying its spirit of innovation to improving formulas by integrating more sustainable raw materials and exploring green sciences to harness the power of nature without exhausting its resources.

From bio-based, renewable ingredients such as Centella Asiatica, to biotechnology-sourced actives like hyaluronic acid and amino acid, their ambition is to combine the highest product efficacy with sustainable processes. By 2030, Kérastase will use green science technologies in all its products. To date, more than 60% of their ingredients are already biobased!

Kerastase is cruelty-free.

​For more than 30 years, Kérastase has been committed to a world without animal testing and has pioneered alternative methods of assessing safety that do not involve animals.

Kerastase is committed to producing sustainably.

​Since 2015, their factory in Burgos, Spain has been carbon neutral, thanks to improved energy efficiency and 100% renewable energy use. Additionally, since 2017, their product facility has been a “waterloop factory”. This means that 100% of the water used for production is recycled and reused in a closed loop. Eternal network water is only used in the composition of products or for employees' day-to-day needs. In 2020, the factory saved 32 million litres of water!!!

So now you can use amazing hair care and feel good knowing you are supporting sustainability for our planet. Of course, we all have to do our parts too -- make sure to recycle those empty product containers, conserve water when doing treatments, and improve your home eco-practices!
