Why I Can't Live Without These 5 Products

Hey everyone - Nadine here from Salon Society! As an Advanced Master Stylist who has been in the hair industry for over 10 years, I have tested more than my fair share of products (and continue to test as new ones are developed) so when I tell you these products are the five which I could not live without you know they are gonna be good! 

Before you read on and jump into my list I want to put a little disclaimer here: these products are the five products that I could not live without in my life, that is to say, my personal unique hair care needs make these essential. It is so so important to remember that our hair history, water, hormones, medication, diet, and so much more affect our hair and in turn what our hair needs. And with no further ado, my five products which I cannot live without:

1. Kerastase Chronologiste Pre-Cleanse Régénérant

​​I have hard water in my house which causes a lot of buildup in my hair. This pre-shampoo is the perfect cleanse to jumpstart the double-cleanse process and it works to get all the buildup out of my hair in a gentle way.

2. Kerastase Fusio Scrub Energisant

​​Once or twice a month I use this scrub to really clean my fine hair from all the shampoos and products I use. It is so wonderful and keeps my scalp really healthy. It's also a cleanser which is cool because it lathers really well! When I use this scrub I use it in place of one of my two shampoos during my double cleanse.

3. Kérastase Chronologiste Masque Régénérant

​​This revitalizing hair masque is super lightweight with a heavenly scent, and leaves my hair feeling silky and nourished. I use it in place of conditioner on alternating hair wash days, but it is light enough to be used more often if you like!

​4. Kevin Murphy UN.TANGLED Detangler
& Framar Detangling Brush

​Okay, so I know this is actually two products, but I really wouldn’t be able to use the detangling spray without the detangling brush! These two together make the best detangling duo you could ever ask for!!

5. Kevin Murphy Bedroom Hair

Bedroom Hair had to be on this list. I cannot live without it for my in-salon clients, for weddings, or for my own at-home styling! I definitely keep a couple of these magic-in-a-can laying around in case of emergency! The secret to what makes Bedroom Hair so amazing is that it contains the smallest amount of wax, which tames flyaways without weighing hair down. It is fantastic for adding texture without static, gives a sexy fluffy texture, and the smell is phenomenal!
