Q: Patricia, what exactly is a Permanent Texture Treatment?
A: “It’s a treatment that changes the hair’s structure by reacting with the disulfide bonds — those are the bonds responsible for your natural texture. We gently loosen them, then use a precise ironing process to set the hair into its new form.
It’s a gentle transformation that works beautifully with colour services and is resistant to chlorine and salt damage. The product is a hybrid between a keratin treatment and a thermal straightening, which makes it suitable for all hair types.”

Q: Is it the same thing as a perm or relaxer?
A: “No, it’s completely different. Our Permanent Texture Treatments are not alkaline-based and contain no harsh chemicals. They’re all-natural and safe for both your hair and your health.”

Q: How long do the results last?
A: “The results are permanent on the treated hair. Your new texture remains until your natural hair grows in. On very damaged hair, results can last about four months, depending on the hair’s condition.”
