Hi! I’m Ailesh!
Returning (although honestly I’ve never truly left) full-time to Salon Society as Hiring & Marketing Manager and sooo happy to be back doing full time hours with my favourite space + people! Years ago, my passion for the beauty industry drove me to get my spray tan and nail technician certifications and you may remember me from my nail art career with Salon Society (including highlights such as being voted Best of Regina 2020: Best Manicurist and Best of Regina 2021: Best Nail Salon!). While working to promote my nail art I fell in love with social media and graphic design, discovering that I have a knack for making beautiful things online. I really love how social media allows a business to connect with its community and clientele, allowing for a business to not only share promotions but also their personality! I also have a diverse background of salon, retail, research, academic, and management experience which gives me the skills needed for some multifaceted project management and problem solving. Alongside social media content creation + management I will be taking on some special projects with Salon Society, including scoping out potential talent – if you are interested in a career with Salon Society hit me up, I would love to chat with you about our team and space! |
Outside of the salon you can find me drinking way too much iced coffee, snuggling with my giant cat Boris, and speed-reading fantasy novels. I love to travel, try new food, and I do my best to be outdoors soaking up all the sunshine + gorgeous weather Saskatchewan has to offer before it freezes over for half the year – so if its summer you can catch me outside (wearing LOTS of SPF) and if its winter you best believe I will be hiding indoors (with all the coffee)!
