Blonde hair is always in style, but 2025 is bringing fresh, modern takes on classic shades and techniques. Whether you're a lifelong blonde or thinking about making the switch, these trending looks are sure to inspire your next salon visit.
1. Luxe Vanilla Blonde Cool, creamy, and effortlessly chic, vanilla blonde is set to be one of the most requested shades this year. This soft, neutral blonde works beautifully on all skin tones and gives off a naturally brightened effect. 2. Dimensional Honey Blonde Warm tones are making a big comeback in 2025. Honey blonde features a rich, golden hue with natural-looking dimension that adds depth and movement to the hair. Perfect for those looking to enhance their glow! 3. Soft Ash Balayage For those who love a cool-toned blonde but want low-maintenance color, ash balayage is the way to go. This subtle, lived-in blonde melts seamlessly into darker roots, giving a sun-kissed effect with a modern edge. 4. High-Contrast Platinum Bold and icy, platinum blonde remains a favorite—but with a twist. This year, we’re seeing more contrast, with deeper roots or shadowed sections to create striking dimension and a more natural grow-out phase. 5. Champagne Blonde A perfect blend of warm and cool tones, champagne blonde offers a sophisticated and versatile option. It’s a soft, sparkling shade that flatters a variety of complexions and adds a touch of elegance to any style. 6. Expensive Blonde This trend is all about glossy, healthy-looking blonde with ultra-fine highlights that create a luxurious, natural-looking effect. Think high-end, low-maintenance blonde that radiates richness and shine. Blonde Maintenance Tips No matter which blonde shade you choose, keeping it fresh and vibrant requires proper care. Do you ever feel like you just can't figure out how to keep your blonde locks looking gorgeous? Between sun damage, brassiness, and dryness, it can be tough to keep blonde hair healthy and beautiful. But don't worry - we're about to share our top 10 tips and tricks to maintain the vibrancy and health of your blonde or highlighted hair. With the right products, techniques, and a dedicated care routine, you can keep your golden locks looking fresh and healthy! Read on to uncover all our secrets for lustrous, vibrant, head-turning blonde hair. Get ready to take your blonde hair game to the next level! 1. Gentle Shampoo and Conditioner Always use sulphate-free, colour-safe shampoo and conditioner to protect your colour. Although not everyone immediately thinks of blonde as "coloured" hair, if you want to keep your blonde tones from fading, it's important to use products that are safe for coloured hair. You can combat brassiness with a purple shampoo - we recommend using it once a week to neutralize unwanted yellow tones and keep your blonde shades cool and fresh! 2. Deep Conditioning Treat your hair to a deep conditioning mask at least once weekly! This helps replenish moisture lost during the highlighting process and keeps your hair silky and manageable. A couple of our favourites are the Masque Cicaextreme for deep restoration after bleaching, and the Masque Intense Régénérant, a revitalizing moisture mask with an irresistible scent. 3. Heat Protection Shield your hair from heat damage by applying a thermal protection spray before using hot styling tools. This simple step is absolutely essential in order to safeguard your hair's vibrant colour and preserve its overall health and strength! 4. Regular Trims Schedule regular trims every 6-8 weeks to prevent split ends and maintain the shape of your hairstyle. This ensures your blonde tresses look polished and healthy, plus you get to hang out with your favourite stylist as a bonus! If you're someone who struggles to remember to keep up with these kinds of appointments - pre-book your next trim(s) at the end of your appointments! 5. Avoid Excessive Sun Exposure Prolonged sun exposure can lead to colour fading - and can damage your beautiful hair in the process! Protect your hair from UV rays by wearing a hat or using products with UV filters for extended periods outdoors. 6. Hydrate from Within Make sure to drink enough water and eat a well-balanced diet packed with essential vitamins and minerals. Your hair's health begins from the inside, so take care of your body to encourage strong and lustrous locks. 7. Professional Treatments Treat yourself to professional salon treatments occasionally, such as glossing or toning services. These can revive your colour and add extra shine to your blonde hair! We also highly recommend trying one of our Fusio-Dose Treatments! They can be customized to meet your unique hair needs, can be added to any service that includes a hair wash, and deliver amazing results quickly! Blog: 10 Things You Need to Know About Fusio Dose 8. Adjust Your Routine Based on Needs Pay attention to your hair's changing needs. If you notice it becoming dry, try deep conditioning more frequently. And if you're dealing with brassiness, consider using purple shampoo more often! 9. Protective Styles at Bedtime At bedtime, loosely braid your hair or switch to a satin pillowcase to minimize friction and prevent breakage. Unlike regular cotton pillowcases, satin doesn't absorb as much of your hair's natural moisture, leaving it smoother and more hydrated. Sweet dreams and beautiful hair await! 10. Regular Check-ins with Your Stylist Make sure to chat with your hairstylist about the condition of your hair and any touch-up appointments that may be needed. Keeping in touch regularly will help maintain the freshness and vibrancy of your blonde, and we genuinely enjoy spending the time with our clients to make sure you look and feel beautiful with your hair colour! Remember, a consistent and personalized hair care routine is key to keeping your blonde or highlighted hair looking its best. Adjustments to product usage and salon visits should be made based on your hair's unique needs and your desired look. SALON SOCIETY1368 ROSE STREET, REGINA, SASKATCHEWANSo you wanna go blonde, do you? Can’t say I blame you! For years blonde has been, and still is a versatile and adored hair colour. I mean, come on, it's beautiful! However, as a brunette – or as someone with previously coloured hair- there are a few things you should consider before diving into this journey. -Hair health > hair colour. Going blonde is a process, and if rushed or done incorrectly, the repercussions could be the heath of your hair. Trust your stylist and start slow- the results will be a beautiful transition, an attainable colour, and hair that you don’t have to cut 7 inches off of when it's done. -Blonde is not a one shade fits all. It may take a bit of playing around with tones to find what works best for you and your skin tone, don’t be discouraged by this. Bring lots of photos to your appointment so your stylist can see what you’re liking, and never be afraid to ask us for our expert opinion. (PRO TIP: Pinterest is a great resource, but be cautious of overly edited or filtered photos- try to save photos off of the hair page your stylist has as well!) -Being blonde is an investment. When taking someone blonde, a typical sitting can range from 2.5-4 hours or longer! There are many more materials being used (foils, bond repair products, etc.) and it is a double-process colour. Thus, it has to be charged accordingly. The best way to address concerns or get an estimate on cost is to book a consultation with your stylist ahead of time, that way you can go into your appointment confident and relaxed. -Salon products are essential. Because when going blonde, even in the healthiest of ways, it is normal for your hair to need some TLC. Say hello to your new best friends- Olaplex, purple shampoo, and your hair mask of choice. -Mini maintenance salon appointments go a long way. This one is for my balayage babes! Even though your hair might look fine to grow out for months on months because of that beautiful natural blend; try a tone and treatment (or trim) between the big appointments. This goes a long way in keeping your hair looking and feeling it’s absolute best. There we have it! I hope this blog answered some of your blonding questions; and in the great words of Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, “Always trust in yourself” (and your stylist-she may have forgotten that part). But seriously, can’t wait to be in the salon again doing all the transformations and making those hair dreams come true! |
