WAXING
A warmed wax mixture is applied in the same direction as hair growth. Once the wax cools and slightly hardens, it's removed in the opposite direction of hair growth using paper or cloth strips.

SUGARING
A cooled paste made of lemon, water, and sugar is applied to the skin by hand in the opposite direction of hair growth. It's then removed in the direction of hair growth in quick, small pulls.
