The Ultimate Review of the Chronologiste Mask: Is It Worth the Hype?

Hey guys!! It's Ailesh from Salon Society here, writing to you all the way from Ottawa. With the major distance, I have to plan my new product purchases with a little more care when shopping from our online boutique… otherwise I would be making some major splurges every week!! I wash my hair 1-2 times a week and am a shampoo + hair masque kinda gal. As I aim to only wash my hair 1x a week (and yes, I do bathe + shower throughout the week without washing my hair haha I am not a dirty gremlin the rest of the time), I really want to maximize the nourishment my hair gets during this treatment!

SO when I learned that Kérastase's Chronologiste Masque Intense Régénérant is designed for regular use after shampooing, I was pretty excited!! PLUS this hair masque came to me pretty highly recommended - Nadine absolutely raves about it which sold me on it. I was already very impressed with the Chronologiste Nourishing Hair Oil (such a LOVELY hair oil) so I was very excited to check out a product coming with such high hype… and ohhhh mannnn did it ever live up to it!

THE EXPERIENCE:

The high-end fragrance paired with the rich creamy formula pair together to make a truly decadent and luxurious experience. Every time I use this masque I feel like a bougie widow treating myself to some relaxation in my penthouse after getting away with murdering my 2nd husband… that is to say it’s amazing.

THE FRAGRANCE:

This fragrance is to die for. High-end perfume; luxury. It has a hint of musk which makes it smell really sultry and sexy! The top notes are the playful vibrancy of Persian Lime with Green Cardamom & refreshing crisp Green Tulips. The heart notes are tea Rose and Peony encompassing the velvety richness of Magnolia. The base notes bring sensuous depth with Light Woods, spicy Cedar and earthy Musk to create a luxurious and sensorial experience. It smells absolutely incredible!

THE TEXTURE:

The masque has a thick, silky, creamy texture. It is instantly hydrating and smoothing; as I finger-combed the masque through my hair all the tangles just melted away. The Chronologiste Masque Intense Régénérant can be used every time you shampoo your hair and the formula is intended for both the scalp and the hair.

THE VERDICT:

10/10. My new obsession. So good I now need to try the rest of the line! If I had to pick only one luxurious, incredible product to use for the rest of my life I would pick this one. If you are looking for an amazing hair care gift - this masque is it!!!
